A strong work ethic and a dedication to excellence are a couple of the many traits that set Jay Zulauf apart from many in the mortgage industry. At a young age, he developed skills as a talented basketball player that enabled him to become not only a Division I scholarship recipient at Marquette University, but helped him become a professional basketball player in Europe. While playing basketball professionally, he was on a team with legends such as Magic Johnson and Patrick Ewing.

In addition to shining on the basketball court, Jay has become a top loan producer in the area. He says, “I entered the mortgage industry in 2003 and enjoy helping people. I am able to make a positive impact on someone’s life every day, and that makes me feel happy and successful. Jay appreciates the fast–paced nature of the business and enjoys that no two days are the same. He says, “I like not knowing what is going to happen each day. I also like that the industry requires me to be a solution-based thinker and solve new challenges. You have to be on top of your game.”

When Jay is not helping many achieve the American dream, he enjoys spending time with his wife and two children, while volunteering at their local church and giving back to the community.
